Hi all it has been brought to my attention that an ex coach is approaching boys to entice them into potentially joining an Edinburgh boys club. Whilst the last couple of weeks has been disappointing we have played some great football and been extremely unfortunate being beaten as we were the superior team. Our team in the main on our day can live with any team and we will be hugely successful if we stick together as a team. The team in question is currently bottom of the league with no wins so I do understand why they are trying to entice better players.

In addition to this I am also told an approach to try and entice for a pro youth team as well. This is not the process and is being reported to the team in question. If any of the boys are approached direct please let us know as there is a process that must be followed and all the teams are aware of this and should not be making direct approaches. Please bear in mind if we are approached in the proper fashion by a pro youth team we would let you know we would not hold this from anyone as ultimately we want the boys to progress in the game
